Come on out to what has become Cleveland's music and arts party of the summer!

Thank you for making RSD Side A such a hit! We’re flipping over to Side B and cranking up the volume!

RSD 2021

RSD 2021: SIDE B happens on Saturday, July 17, from 8 am to 6 pm, and features an incredible lineup of Cleveland icons, institutions, and rising stars:

  • Exclusive RSD titles, available at The Current Year beginning 8am, and giveaways and surprises for Record Store Day customers all day long – including themed art books and swag by 1984 Publishing, and gift certificates from Cleveland food legends Melt Bar and Grilled – while supplies last!

  • Exclusive, very limited edition Record Store Day ‘21 signed and numbered art print, available framed and unframed!

  • The Current Year’s official summer 2021 t-shirt – our first shirts ever!

  • Fat Head’s Brewery will have their award winning craft beer on tap, including a brew specially crafted for The Current Year and Record Store Day! In homage of the band Pavement, Fat Head’s presents Shady Lane IPA, a hazy style with low bitterness, tropical and citrus fruit aromas and flavors, 6.5% ABV. Everybody wants one!

  • Special exotic cocktails by the expert mixologists of Porco Lounge & Tiki Bar. This is the only place right now to experience Cleveland’s world-class tiki legend – get a few extra to go!

  • Polish Village’s extremely popular Barabicu Smokehouse will be on site with their epicurean barbecue delights: smoked beef and cheddar sandwiches, smoked pulled pork sandwiches, and double-smoked bacon!

  • Another Polish Village foodie favorite, Brayson’s Ice Cream, will have their ice cream truck beginning at 2pm!

  • Author Annie Zaleski will be signing her critically acclaimed book, Duran Duran’s ‘Rio,' part of the legendary 33 1/3 series published by Bloomsbury.

  • Cleveland indie rockers Learning Curve will be playing sets throughout the afternoon.

  • Noted vinyl DJ Mike One will be spinning Brazilian, boogie, jazz-funk and more from the control deck of The Current Year.

  • Live tiki carving by Geoffrey Rees of Ahiiha Tiki. Do not miss this chance to see a master carver at work! His art will also be on display and available for sale.

  • Prama Artspace & Gallery pop-up with exclusive items available from the gallery.

  • Artist meet & greet with contemporary Cleveland artist and designer Samantha Vickers of Intention Studio Design. Sam will also have her work available for purchase.

  • Polish Village information booth with swag.

  • Our neighbors across the street will also be joining in on the festivities! B&L Comics will have a special sale on new releases, and Ridge Road Tavern will have food specials all day. The Tavern – along with Bar One West just a block to the north – will be featuring the very Parma drink special, Flamingo Fuel!

  • Choice tiki and vintage wares by Ohio Tiki Nuts.

  • Croched accessories and more by Akron’s Thanks Marge!, including her groovy new plant slings. If you like macramé as much as we do, you will love them!

  • Stay healthy with all-natural small-batch wellness items from Elderberry Syrup by Jen.

  • Parma’s Soap Lady of Scentsational Soap will be fully stocked with handcrafted soaps and oils.

  • Live broadcasts and Record Store Day news updates on the scene by WBWC 88.3 FM The Sting!

The Current Year is a boutique store that maintains a small capacity limit, and RSD is no exception. No more than the posted capacity will be permitted in the shop at one time. Thanks so much for your patience and cooperation!
